Are You Here for the Recipe? Let’s Talk Spiced Maple Simple Syrup!
This Spiced Maple Simple Syrup is a great last-minute gift for the foodie, coffee lover, or cocktail connoisseur on your list. As an added bonus, your kitchen will smell like Christmas as you simmer cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves and more to create this easy recipe.
How to use Spiced Maple Simple Syrup?
You can use Spiced Maple Simple Syrup as a replacement for the honey or maple you drizzle over your breakfast yogurt, as a way to spice up your home latte game, or in your favorite cocktail. In my home, we love adding it to a classic Old Fashioned or Manhattan drink, and occasionally topping it off with a splash of Prosecco. I’ve also added it to homemade whipped cream to serve on top of my vegan cranberry hand pies.
Turn It Into A Gift:
Save a little syrup for yourself, then funnel the rest into a pretty upcycled glass bottle, tie it with a pretty ribbon, and add a custom tag telling your recipient what it is and how to use it. Voila. Cross that person off your list, then pour yourself a drink with that little reserve.
