It’s here! Check out Eat Your Feelings, the latest cookbook from my dear friend Lindsey Smith, aka The Food Mood Girl.
A little over a year ago, I responded to an email, then went to a coffee shop to meet Lindsey Smith, aka The Food Mood Girl. By the end of the meeting, we were hugging and comparing dog instagram accounts we follow, which is to say, the meeting went well. About a month after that, we rallied in her house to embark on a major project: bringing Lindsey’s cookbook to life.
Lindsey and Theresa hustled in the kitchen, Sarah craned in “yoga” positions across the dining room table to get shot after shot. I styled backdrops, props and food, and we all tried to sneak snuggles with Winnie Cooper. It was the best, most playful and supportive team, and now, a year later, I am holding Lindsey’s book in my hands, and daaaamn, does that gold foil look good! (Special shoutout to Kate Reingold, the book’s illustrator)
That creative venture formed the foundation of such a close friendship, so this book, Eat Your Feelings, will always hold a special place in my heart. Lindsey is such a goofy, inspiring, authentic, supportive friend, and this book has such a smart mission to encourage everyone to reclaim emotional eating, to listen to their bodies and to make healthy choices.

Pre-order Eat Your Feelings now, and you too will soon be holding this amazing collection of recipes in your hands. (As a stylist, I take the quality control aspect of my job very seriously!) You can taste a preview by sampling her Cookie Dough Contraband recipe which I shared last winter (perfect for cabin getaways). I can’t get enough of those no-bake cookies!
Plus, if you pre-order soon, you could receive these mood-boosting snacks and My Magic Mud, our favorite charcoal toothpaste.
Congratulations Lindsey! Thank you for trusting me with your vision and inviting me to join this endeavor. I couldn’t be happier for you and am so excited to see the places this book will go!
I’m not crying. You’re crying!
