Warm sun, rosy cheeks, tanned shoulders, spilling vines, fresh-cut grass and cool soil underfoot. Could we hold onto all of it a bit longer? Could we stave off the dark mornings and shortened days? Could we take a few last sips of summer?

Tomato Pepper Juice

Last Sips of Summer Juice

makes ~2 quarts

2 lbs organic carrots
~8oz fresh ginger, peeled
2 organic red peppers, stem and seeds removed
1 floret of organic broccoli
4 organic vine tomatoes
3 organic lemons, peeled


Combine according to your juicer’s instructions. Serve with a dash of fresh-crushed, black pepper.
