The stark wintry times bring debilitating cold, countless layers of clothing, the various happy holidays, the drop of a ball and finally and most importantly in my world:  my birthday!  For my quarter century birthday, I made myself 25 mini tiered cakes as a cheer to each year of my life.  This year, I added one more cakelette to the total and officially made it a tradition!  I’ll probably start lying about my age one day just to conserve on cake batter.
